About

We were sitting on mountains of data.
But it just wasn't very useful.

As a member of the team that founded Analytic Index, Tim is no stranger to big data. He helped agencies and brands of all sizes put their data into action, but that was the problem.

Analytic Index and other existing solutions provided all the data in the world but required crazy amounts of time and data geeks to filter and make it useful. That's where the idea for Consumerly came from.

Leverage AI to make sense of data and work hand-in-hand with Amazon managers.

Tim has been an entrepreneur since he started selling candy out of his locker in high school. After an MBA from the University of Utah, he helped build and sell MobiChord, an enterprise SaaS platform for managing technology spend, then jumped straight into Analytic Index, where he built the go-to-market and customer success organizations from scratch.

Two years later the company sold to Mars United Commerce, where Tim brought SaaS-style marketing to the agency world and helped drive the growth that led to Publicis acquiring the agency in 2024. He spent the following year running growth marketing across Publicis Commerce, Mars United, Arc Worldwide and Saatchi X.

Somewhere in those five years he stopped being able to ignore something. Analytic Index was collecting an extraordinary amount of data about the most competitive retail environment on earth, and the best thing anyone could do with it was put it on a chart. Every platform in commerce could tell a brand what happened. Not one could tell them why, or what to do next.

Why Us

Why we can solve it

Experience

We have built this data before

Collecting live search results, tracking share of voice, watching competitor pages change, reconciling it against a brand's own account. We spent years learning where that breaks and how to make it reliable at scale.

Know how

We know what brands actually need

Hundreds of brands advised on commerce marketing analytics, and dozens of conference stages. The gap between what a dashboard shows and what a team does next came up in nearly every conversation.

Technical Skills

We build, we don't bolt on

Consumerly was designed around AI from the first line of code, not retrofitted onto a reporting tool. That is why the modules can reason across each other instead of sitting in separate tabs.
